Registering for Camp Fareta 2025 — July 12-20 – Welcome back!

Hey everyone! Please read the following information carefully – it will help you move through the registration process more easily. If you already know the drill, just jump to the registration options below.

It’s always helpful if you register as soon as possible, and pay in full right away if possible. Also please use Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp or send a check (unless you're registering at the last minute) so we don't have to pay those PayPal fees. Thank you!!!

To make the best use of the space we have at camp and keep our systems running smoothly, there are various packages that have a lower daily rate than what you pay for a “custom” package. If the packages don't suit your schedule, you are welcome to sign up for the days that work best for you.

Rates are All Inclusive – classes, food, accommodations, evening events, and even parking. ☺ It’s the same price for a tent (bring your own) or dorm cabin (usually six to eight people in each cabin, all on bottom bunks, unless numbers are very high). A 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot.

Please note: even if we have your information in the system, you are not considered registered until we have your deposit. Until we have your payment, you may be bumped from the list or may end up in a later (higher) price category. It works better all-around if you pay right away.

If you show up without having preregistered and camp is already full (unlikely, but possible), you may be turned away. This is because there is a cap, set by the venue, on the number of participants we are allowed to have. The chefs also need to know ahead of time how many campers we will have so they can plan quantities accurately; if you show up unannounced, we may ask you to go to the end of the food line, to let those who preregistered eat first. If you want to be sure to get fed at camp, especially the special diet you prefer, please preregister.

Children 3-12 must be registered by July 1 to guarantee space in Kids Camp. A higher rate will be charged for children who are not pre-registered. Children 3 and under are free of charge; no childcare is provided for them. Our Kids Camp program is not suitable for very young children.

Changing/Adding Days: Days added on-site will be charged at the "regular" day rate even if your original registration was in the "early" period. If you pre-register for a certain number of days and then decide at camp to decrease your number of days, you will be charged $60 per day to cover food and administrative fees for your cancelled days.

Rates are all-inclusive – all the classes and evening events, all the meals, a bed in a cabin or your own tent, evening events, hangin’ at the lake, and all the fun you can handle!


PLEASE NOTE NEW THIS YEAR: We encourage you to prepay 100% of your camp fees. This will make the check-in process faster, plus most of you will probably want to pay electronically anyway, so please do it pre-camp.

No personal checks at camp unless Christina or Youssouf know you well enough to vouch for you!

Better Late than Never Registration: After August 12, please email for availability and to make payment arrangements.

PAYMENT

You may pay by check or electronically. Please make our lives easier by prepaying in full when you register.

    After entering your information in our online system, make checks payable to DANCING VILLAGE PRODUCTIONS for at least half of the total amount due and mail to the address below. A $25 fee will be charged for bounced checks, plus your bank will charge you, so let's avoid all that!

If you did not pay in full when you signed up online, the balance will be due upon arrival or may be paid in advance. No personal checks will be accepted on site, unless Youssouf or Christina can vouch for you. ;-)

REFUNDS
Refunds will be given, minus a $100 processing fee, for requests received by August 10. After that no refunds will be given except due to illness (with a note from a doctor). No refunds are available to participants who leave camp early (other than due to illness) or do not attend without notification, and no discounts are given for missed classes (including due to late arrival) or meals. Choosing the status of "observer" must be done pre-camp, not after camp is over.

If you pre-registered for a certain number of days, only paid a deposit for those days, and then let us know upon arriving at camp that you want to decrease your number of days, you will be charged $60 per day to cover food and administrative costs for your cancelled days.
